Client Overview:

Pontinova is an independent boutique law firm based in Zurich, specializing in international legal advice at the interface between Germany - Switzerland - the United Arab Emirates.

Project Objective:

To design and develop a sophisticated and user-friendly website that reflects the firm's elite status and international expertise.

Project Phases:

1. Discovery and Research

  • Client Meetings: Conducted a series of meetings to understand the firm's vision, target audience, and unique selling points.

  • Competitive Analysis: Analysed competitor websites and industry standards in legal services, especially those operating in international jurisdictions.

  • Mood board: Collated a variation visual elements to curate an aesthetic reflecting modern corporate.

2. Design Strategy

  • Brand Integration: Ensured the firm's branding was seamlessly integrated with the IBM design system to maintain a consistent and professional look.

  • Structuring Content: Utilising content to reflect the message of the firm.

  • Wireframes and Prototypes: Created wireframes and interactive prototypes to map out user journeys and the website’s structure.

  • IBM Design System Elements: Leveraging the IBM design system to emote a familiarity, and corporate aesthetic. As well as UI elements to ensure a modern and cohesive design.

3. Visual Design

  • High-Fidelity Mockups: Developed high-fidelity mockups, focusing on clean, professional aesthetics with a touch of sophistication suitable for the law firm.

  • Responsive Design: Ensured the website design was fully responsive, providing an optimal user experience on desktops, tablets, and mobile devices.

  • Visual Hierarchy: Employed a clear visual hierarchy to highlight key information and services, facilitating easy navigation for users.

4. Web Development

  • Technology Stack: Built on Webflow using low-code solutions.

  • Custom Features: Developed custom features such as a multilingual interface (German, English, Arabic), interactive contact forms, and an appointment booking system.

  • IBM Carbon Components: Implemented IBM Carbon Design System components for UI consistency and efficiency.

Outcomes:

  • Lead Generation & Conversion Rate: User flow, and integration of enhanced contact booking features have led to a measurable increase in client inquiries and consultations.

  • Client Feedback: Positive feedback from clients and stakeholders regarding the website’s design, functionality, and ease of use.
