Client Overview:
FocusBear is a productivity app designed for AuDHD users.
Project Objective:
Focusbear was facing user retention issues, particularly with retention on their "focus session" feature. The challenge was to discern a more user friendly experience, & reimagining a new focus session mode.

1. The Brief
Understanding the challenge: Focusbear findings revealed significant user churn during focus sessions.
Desired Outcomes: The challenge was to develop a more concise & engaging design, which kept users on the app. With a strong emphasis turning Focusbear into a personable & engaging character.

Understanding our User: Incorporating personal experience, & research for users with ASD & ADHD made certain design choices more obvious than others. Choices like sensory features, specific colorways,
Competitive Research: Using Mobbin's content library, I researched the UX workflows of similar apps such as Headspace, Duolingo, GetBrick, and many more to discover what design changes had been proven to work



3. Process
Figma: the majority of this design process happened in Figma, turning drawn wireframes into high fidelity mockups with annotations.
